Mr Adedotun Kazeem

Adedotun is a Partner in the Firm and heads the Firm’s Technology Advisory Division. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006 after graduating with honours from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Master of Laws Degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University in the United Kingdom.

In addition to his responsibilities in Technology Advisory, Adedotun has advised Nigerian and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial issues involving tax, international trade and investment, maritime, construction, energy, and finance, with respect to contract negotiation and structure, contractual risk management, regulatory compliance, and dispute management and resolution.

He has acted as Team Lead in several of the Firm’s significant advisory assignments including as Trustees’ Solicitor to the N20Bn Kano State Government Bond Issue, Transaction Legal Advisers in an ongoing Merger of two major operators of shared telecommunication infrastructure in Nigeria, and Transaction Legal Advisers to a Filipino technology company on the development of a revenue assurance, business optimization and information system for a state-run transport agency.

Adedotun is also a disputes practitioner of considerable expertise and has represented clients in civil disputes up to the Supreme Court and at Arbitration, and in several and criminal matters pro bono.
