Mr Adeniji Kazeem

Adeniji Kazeem SAN was born on 19th April 1965 and attended St Saviours Primary School, Railway Compound, Ebute Metta, Lagos for his Nursery & Primary  Education . In 1976 he proceeded to Federal Government College Warri for his O’levels and thereafter Federal Government College Ijanikin, Lagos for his A’ Levels. In 1983 he was admitted into the University of Lagos and graduated in 1986 with a 2nd class Upper degree in Political science. From 1986-1987 he performed the mandatory National Youth Service programme as a Research Assistant with the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. In 1987 he returned to the University of Lagos and graduated in 1990 with 2nd class Upper honours in Law . In 1991 he was called to the Nigerian Bar and enrolled as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. Adeniji Kazeem SAN also holds a Master of Laws degree in Information and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland and is a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In 1991 Adeniji Kazeem started his professional career as a Consultant  in the Tax and Regulatory services division of the the International Consulting and Accounting Firm of Arthur Andersen (now KPMG ). After five years with the Firm he voluntarily resigned to establish his own Firm.

 In 1996 he established the Law Firm of Adeniji Kazeem & Co (AK & Co.). The Firm is a full service Firm and currently has offices in Lagos and Abuja.

On 24th September 2018 he was conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN) after confirmation by the Legal Practitioners privileges committee

Mr. Kazeem was appointed and served as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice for Lagos State between October 2015 and May 2019.

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Nigeria and a member of the Body of Benchers amongst several other organisations. He is happily married and blessed with children.
